13 Jul Symbol tweet update – 13/07/21
Hi guys, hope you are all well today and staying safe. I think/hope I am starting to recover a bit from my brush with COVID. Anyway, let’s see what’s been sent in today by our excellent community members who continue to translate Symbol related tweets coming out of Japan!
Also if you have any news please let Symbol Blog know!
Massively multisig
Thanks @alediemmee and @tongkijohnny for sending in translations of our favourite professor at @SchoolofNEM π¨π»βπ«.. Here we learn that you can have a whopping 25 cosignatories on a single multisig account. In addition a single account can act as a co-signer on 25 other accounts. That’s a lot of signers and should be enough for any application!
Aggregate bonded transactions
Thanks @bestgoldangel for sending in a translation of this @SchoolofNEM tweet for us! Here I will introduce you to Alice who appears to be Barbie’s curvier sister, and Bob who loves his football. In this tweet we see that by using aggregate bonded transactions a third party can pay the XYM transfer fee for Alice to be able to send a token or “mosaic” to Bob. Bob and Alice do not need to hold any XYM to be able to transact with each other on the Symbol blockchain.
Sending transactions in Python
Thanks @eikcimickie for sending in this tweet from @Kei_cc_777. This is a really nice find! Here @Kei_cc_777 provides some Python code which will allow the user to send multiple simultaneous transactions in an aggregate transaction from a list of addresses in a Google Spreadsheet. I will add this to my list of articles that I want to try to write up into English and hope to post if I get some time to work on it in the future. Thanks!
Nikkei Sangyo
Thanks @Niashabid17 for sending in this translation of @AI27982784‘s tweet relating to the hiring of Nikkei Sangyo Advertising to support marketing in Japan. This is a huge company and really was a big deal when the news was announced earlier in the year. The tweet links to a nemedia post about the FIN / SUM2021 conference held earlier this year and is an interesting read (Google Translate does a good job of translating to English!).
Thanks again for reading and we will be back again tomorrow with another update! π
