Hopefully by now we are all clear on why we should be harvesting our XYM, if not then here is a quick reminder from @XHarvesting:

1. Harvesting is free and easy – just hold your coins in your own wallet and delegate to your node of choice. That’s literally all you need to get started
2. Your funds are not locked for a set period as with other coins. You can withdraw your XYM instantly at any point in time
3. If you buy whilst the price is low, hold and earn more then if you (really have to) sell in the future when the price increases then you will have more coins to sell then too – it’s a double win!
4. Couple your harvesting with NEMHub earnings for HODLing and you are earning XYM twice for doing absolutely nothing
5. It’s fun! There are Telegram bots such as XYMHarvestMonitor that will ping your phone when you get a harvest – always brings a smile to my face!

Now that we are clear on the benefits of harvesting, it would also be a good idea to get our tools ready. Our Japanese friends have developed a number of awesome tools that will assist you in your harvesting journey! We will be covering a number of those tools in this post. So what does it do?

By simply entering your Symbol address you can see your XYM balance, the market capitalization, your importance score, XYM prices on different exchanges, node information, harvesting status, transactions and so many more.

Hmm taxes taxes. I guess the word taxes is self explanatory. I don’t know about you but I personally do not find the process super enjoyable. Luckily this tool can help make the process a bit simpler by allowing you to calculate your taxes!

Symbol Node List by @ahikicoin

If you are looking for a place to see all the nodes this is the right place. This tool helps not only to see all the nodes and their characteristics but is also the place where nodes can be promoted!

If you click the “Current” number in “Number of Delegated Harvesters”, you can see the information of the people who are delegating to that node, and you can know when and who harvested. Pretty cool right?

Next Harvest Block Prediction by @poi_symbol

By entering your Symbol address you can see when the harvest will come next based on the importance.

Please note that harvests are often continuous or difficult to come by.

Farmers History Visualisation by @poi_symbol

Well, who doesn’t like to have visuals, especially when it comes to looking at your harvesting rewards! This tool helps you visualise your harvest history graph and even gives you a prediction for the next harvest.

Xym-Harvest-Monitor by @Up_Income

This is one of the tools that puts a smile on @XHarvesting face! This tool is  incorporated in Telegram (chat app) and with a simple command you will be notified about harvesting and transaction notifications, delegation status monitoring, harvest count, amount confirmation, balance of multiple addresses, importance confirmation, etc.

Bonus: ​​XymHarvestMonitor can be switched to English!

Inflation Compensation Chart by @ isidad2

This is a quick reference table of inflation rewards that you can get from harvesting. If you follow this table, you will get at least 100XYM until August 2022.

Of course, the more Symbol is used the inflation rewards will be treated as a bonus. Let’s do our best!

OK this last one was added by me (@XHarvesting) when I was copying Ana’s post to the blog. My site might win an award for the worst presented webpage on the internet but it does have a lot of Symbol harvesting stats, a harvest calculator, harvesting income of every account and some visual representations of accounts harvesting on each node. It is not as good as the tools above but maybe you’ll find something useful on there! 😁
