Start of a new month! July still feels like October here in the UK 🥶 🌧 hopefully we will get some sunshine soon.. Anyway, as usual I’ll try to keep you up to date with the latest Symbol news reported to the blog by community members (thank you all!).

NFTs and nember.art

The wonderful @nembear has posted a guide to nember.art.

Of course it is in Japanese but friend of Symbol Blog @AbdouBouterfaya has provided a translation for all of you English speakers that are interested in creating or buying NFTs on the platform. This is a thread so please click on the tweet to view the post in its entirety.

To summarise, nembear has put together instructions on how to register, buy and sell on nemberart although he does warn of the complexity of the process for those that are new to Symbol although hopes that these technical barriers will be addressed soon to make the process simpler.

nembear also raises an important point, on nember.art sellers don’t have to sell to the highest bidder, they decide on who they want to sell to. One of the features that he would like to see implemented is a messaging function to allow fans/potential buyers to communicate with the artists/sellers. This would enable those that are really passionate about an artists work, or who have bought from them before to arrange a sale.

Finally nembear encourages his readers to use the platform and enable it to grow. We don’t want to risk losing such a valuable resource!

If you guys haven’t checked out nember.art please give it a look. As we reported earlier in the week there are some fantastic artworks available for sale as NFTs.

For our Russian friends @TongkiJohnny has linked to the same tweet. Unfortunately Johnny I can’t translate it but thank you for letting us know that the message is going out in other languages too!

A call to the community

Totally agree with this tweet from @TrendStream (thank you @SamiurR76186237 for bringing it to my attention!). The basic translation is if you are interested in Symbol, are building on Symbol, if you can provide help and advice to other community members or promote XYM then please take some time and effort to help, we would all appreciate it and would support you.

Everyone reading this will have an interest in Symbol so help out the community, support the amazing devs that have worked so hard to bring this project to fruition. Do your bit for the cause! We here at Symbol Blog are trying in our small way to contribute, if we all did this then we could really bring XYM to the masses!
