04 Nov Symbol blockchain news update – 04/11/21

Hi everyone, I am going to get straight on with it today so welcome to Thursday’s Symbol Blog update!

New wallet release

A new Symbol wallet release (v1.0.8) is now available to download. It looks like there are several improvements and bug fixes so make sure that you keep up to date and download the latest version. I am off to do this after I finish writing today’s post. You can see all of the changes below:

A milestone 🥳

Well we made it to 1000 followers on Twitter! Thank you to everyone that reads the blog, it is amazing to think that it has only really been up and running for 4 months, seems like part of my life now. Coinage

Check out these new XYM coin designs for XYM City! Hatchet is looking for feedback. I wonder whether different colours, sizes or shapes would be useful. I am bound to get confused after hanging out in the bar and tip someone a 25 instead of a 5 XYM coin.. Also I think a 1 and a 100 XYM coin would be good too 😁

Tomorrow is the day?

I am no longer sure what anything means but it looks like maybe there is some news coming tomorrow. Is it news on the new website, on the rumoured fork, on some other big news? Who knows. I guess we wait to find out if it happens and what it is. I will try to post about it when I find out 😊
